Alphabet: An Exhibition of Hand-Drawn Lettering & Experimental Typography 11.03.06 - 11.21.06

Curated and traveled by Nolen Strals and Bruce Willen from Post Typography. The exhibition features alphabets by forty-eight designers, representing well-known typographers such as Ed Fella and Ken Barber as well as rising stars Andrew Jeffrey Wright, Andrew Byrom, and Michael McErlean. Reception: Thursday, November 2, 4:30-6:30 pm.

Geodesic Mathematics and Random Chaos: Buckminster Fuller and John Cage 08.28.06 - 09.29.06

Several Fuller sculptures and a portfolio documenting his inventions are paired with Cage's Plexigrams and lithographs. Material courtesy of Carl Solway Gallery, Cincinnati, Ohio. A symposium exploring Fuller-Cage connections will be held on Saturday September 16.

Multi-layered deconstructed, postmodernist assemblages-collages of appropriated materials by internationally renowned artist, Souza’s work was exhibited in the 2002 Whitney Biennial and has been included in the International Biennales in Venice, San Paulo and Vienna and is included in major public Collections.
