A limited number of tuition only awards are available on a competitive basis for incoming freshmen art students through the School of Art. These tuition scholarships are awarded for a maximum of two years through a portfolio competition held by the School of Art for high school seniors in the spring of each year. Several privately endowed scholarship grants are also competitively awarded on an annual basis by the School or Art through a portfolio competition to students already enrolled in the university who are classified as continuing majors in art.
